at wal­ters, we played around with the tele­vi­sion, play­ing sydney tv with wollon­gong sound, wollon­gong tv with sydney sound… explored the rela­tion­ship between the speed of light and the speed of sound, or was it? i dis­agree with their explan­a­tion, for the simple reason that wollon­gong sound was in sync with wollon­gong tv… there­fore it is merely the extra dis­tance for the wave to travel that cre­ates the delay… still, an inter­est­ing effect slightly out of sync… reminded me of the can­berra voice trick thing when we played one pic­ture with both sydney and wollon­gong sound… the advant­ages of a stereo tv…

i had some great ideas for the tape exer­cise for s&i, but it didn’t work out prop­erly… add one more to the list of people i’ll have to employ to do the sound on my films.
