at walters, we played around with the television, playing sydney tv with wollongong sound, wollongong tv with sydney sound… explored the relationship between the speed of light and the speed of sound, or was it? i disagree with their explanation, for the simple reason that wollongong sound was in sync with wollongong tv… therefore it is merely the extra distance for the wave to travel that creates the delay… still, an interesting effect slightly out of sync… reminded me of the canberra voice trick thing when we played one picture with both sydney and wollongong sound… the advantages of a stereo tv…
i had some great ideas for the tape exercise for s&i, but it didn’t work out properly… add one more to the list of people i’ll have to employ to do the sound on my films.
