Four months ago, almost but not quite to the day, I passed through Singapore Airport and stopped into the business centre to recharge my laptop (I had Buffy DVDs to watch thanks to the Evanly One… shhh… I am *not* a geek). I noticed at the time that they had a shower and jacuzzi and thought to myself, wow, if it was morning, that would be great!

So, halfway to Singapore from Paris I realised that our arrival time of 6am and our departure time of 9.30am was absolutely perfect.

I have just had an hour-long jacuzzi with a complementary fresh lime juice drink (although I’m treating it as a fresh lime juice drink and a slightly cheaper-than-it-really-was jacuzzi to justify it to myself) and now I’m using the business lounge’s complementary-for-customers Interweb connection. Oh, and of course, I’m charging the laptop.

Now *this* is what long-haul flights should be like.

I’ve also had a revelation: the challenge for myself from now will be to find things to write about for LJ that pass my worth-writing-filter. Which in turn is a good way to force myself to do things on a regular basis that are worth writing about. So, do you write to live or live to write? Think to live or live to think?
