Planning ahead

I’m going to Wood­ford in a few days and won’t be back till after new year, so here are a few dates for your diaries:

• Janu­ary 17: I’m fea­tur­ing at The Dan. Come along and hear the poetry from the trip… 
• Janu­ary 22: My birth­day! And the kind people at Columbia Tristar are releas­ing Under­world that day. It looks to be a supremely tacky gothy film. I’m think­ing a late ses­sion to acco­mod­ate those who want to go to kitling’s zoo outing on the same day. (Hey! That’s exactly one month’s time! Only a month until I’m 33… weird…) 

In sort of related news, I’ve added a wish­list to my home page. It looks really tacky to do it now with this post, but it’s actu­ally some­thing I’ve been plan­ning to put up since I got back from over­seas and is more for me to keep track of stuff I want, but I figured it could double as a gift ideas thing for par­ent­als (Hi Mum!).

I will endeav­our to give you more kitten pic­tures soon and more eru­dite post­ing in the new year.
