It’s almost time to farewell the sun as we journey away from it again. We wish for magic and miracles in this time, for change and stability all at once that we will continue to turn and move through space and time as we do, that every day will be new and fresh and yet bring us back to where we are, safe and warm.

To celebrate the turn of the cycle together, let’s meet for a feast!

What: Solstice dinner picnic
When: from about 4pm, Tuesday December 21 (or whenever you finish work)
Where: the circle of 13 trees, Edinburgh Gardens, Fitzroy (it’s the back left-hand corner as you stand on St Georges Rd facing the park)
What if it rains? My place.
What should I bring? Food, wine, merriment, mead, musical instruments
But I’m not a pagan… We don’t care. The picnic is just for fun. We’ll probably be having a sunset ritual, but there’s no obligation to join in.

Hope to see you there!
