Naming

So, I finally have the new laptop. And I’ve spent all night making her beau­ti­ful (yes, all my laptops are female…) and trying to get stuff across from the broken laptop (Inanna) to the new one (not suc­cess­ful). So then I re-installed a bunch of applic­a­tions and dragged import­ant things (poetry, photos) over from backups and from Enkidu, my external disk (yes, peri­pher­als are male). I had to go hunt­ing for one of my favour­ite fonts, Bickley Script, because I can’t remem­ber how I got it ori­gin­ally and it’s a com­mer­cial font, but I found it even­tu­ally (it’s vital because it’s in my résumé). I don’t have Dream­weaver re-installed yet because that came from the Uni and I don’t have the disks and I can’t find my disk for File­Maker Pro (why didn’t I put it back in the box?). You didn’t really want to know all this boring stuff, did you?

So, the ques­tion is, what to call her? All my Macs have had the names of god­desses. I’ve had Hecate, Astarte, and most recently Inanna. I’ve been toying with Ishtar, but I’m open to suggestions.
