It’s rare I’ll say I’m glad there are Australians in war zones, but when I read articles like this I think about how much worse it might be if they weren’t. Australians had to ‘red card’ US soldiers to stop them killing (even more) civilians? US soldiers scare me. And the ‘red card’ metaphor from sport scares me too.
Of course, I still say better *none* of them were there.
