Terror: the government is scaring me

Listen­ing to Lateline. The more i hear about this new legis­la­tion, the more dis­turbed I get. If you aren’t scared yet, you aren’t paying attention.

You can be shot for run­ning away from people in plain clothes who happen to be police, which you wer­en’t to know, and they can do it with impun­ity. You can be arres­ted on sus­pi­cion alone and put into pre­vent­at­ive deten­tion and then if anyone tells someone where you are, that’s five years jail for them. And let’s not get star­ted on sedition…
