Rosanne and PrincessToday was a hoot. Not only did I get to trek out to Lysterfield to pick up the lion for Dad, but seedy_girl and thorfinn and I went for lunch in the Dandenongs and drove around the mountain tourist drives in the lovely sunshine and then checked out a property for sale in Kalorama and when we finally made it home, I jumped on the new bike and went out to Pride in St Kilda (I missed the March but made it to the party in the park at the end) and met a guy with an awesome olive python named Princess (click on the thumbnails for enlargements).
Is that a snake in your pocket? This is her wrapped around my neck. Her muscles are totally incredible and she feels warm and fabulous to touch. At one point she actually put her head into my pocket. I think she got camera shy!
Stop, it tickles' align=
When she was slithering around my neck, it felt superb. I was stroking her with my hands and laughing the whole time.
Kisses' align=When her tongue darts out, it feels like a butterfly kiss. It’s absolutely adorable.
So, the important question of the day: new icon? We have two options… on the left, this ‘python hug’ option… and on the right, this ‘python kiss’ option…

Thoughts?

Plus, on the way home I had lots of fun flirting with a sassy woman riding a Honda Shadow (I didn’t get a very good look) with black fairing and burgundy trim. We kept overtaking each other and then chatting at lights… But she turned off at Johnston and waved me farewell…

Oh, and my review of Walk the Line is now up at the screening_room.

[I don’t usually post personal stuff like this publicly but a) I had a request from a non-LJ friend tonight for an update and b) the guy who took these photos may not be LJ-enabled and I’ve pointed him here. If this post disappears, that’s why. If you want to be added to my friends list for more inane trash like this, respond here and I’ll think about it.]
