Remember the “terrible side effects” of the “drug-trial gone wrong” recently?
We’ve finally got some details:
Mr Wilson and the five others were each paid £2200 ($A5275) for taking part in the trial, but suffered convulsions and organ failure minutes after being administered the test drug. All the other volunteers have been released from hospital.
“I had heart failure, kidney failure, pneumonia, septicemia and liver failure and was ventilated on 99 per cent oxygen,” Mr Wilson said.
Is anyone else deeply suspicious about this? Even if it really was an accident, I’m almost 100% certain there are some very intrigued military personnel having chats with that pharmaceutical company right now. “Within minutes, you say? Fascinating.”
