I spent my first American thanksgiving in
‘s house and was treated with gluten-free homemade delights and I baked gluten-free chocolate cupcakes. The next night we had an all-nighter and I tracked the biggest change in our political landscape.
I am thankful for so many things.
- They’ve already said they’ll ratify Kyoto.
- Julia Gillard is our first female deputy PM!
- Peter Garrett is going to be Minister for Climate Change!
- Friends and good conversations.
- Life and health
- My amazing partner.
- Snuggling under the covers late in the morning while the rain falls onto the Texan roof.
I’m sure there’ll be more. I’m being hurried to go eat.
EDIT: We got as far as Sonora and discovered the roads are closed because of snow further on. This could get interesting…
