How did I freaking miss this? Apparently, on Sunday, the last Australian combat troops in Iraq lowered the Aussie flag and they’ll all be home by June 28.

Not that I think our responsibility for the damage is ended. I’m all for helping rebuild — if we’re wanted — and hopefully not with the corrupt military-industrial contractors that have been winning the tenders so far.
