Just read this article about the US’ plans to ‘fight the net’ as an enemy weapons system if it comes down to it, specifically plans to “disrupt or destroy the full spectrum of globally emerging communications systems, sensors, and weapons systems dependent on the electromagnetic spectrum” if necessary. Thanks to and_ for the heads up on that one.
Also forgot to blog about that whole thing with the British spies in Russia. My favourite bits of this are “The security service has begun searching Moscow for other suspicious rocks” and Putin’s later comment that Russia shouldn’t expel these spies, because maybe the next ones would be brighter.
Oh, and then there’s the two Canadian radio pundits who managed to trick Chirac into thinking he was speaking with newly elected Canadian leader, Stephen Harper.
