Last night, I ended up at the Kristina Olsen and Peter Grayling gig around the corner at the Clifton Hill Hotel. As I walked in, they started playing “How I love that tango” and a couple of tango dancers got up. It was beautiful, sensual. She played all my favourites: “Dangerous”, “Yellow Piper” and “Heart Hill”, that heart-breaking song about love and how we must grasp what is in front of us while we draw breath.
These are the vital things in the world for me right now: love and peace and hope and compassion and courage.
