I’m watching Thank God You’re Here on Channel 10 and I’ve realised I recognise one of the ensemble cast. It’s my old mate, Daniel Cordeaux, also from the old Theatresports and ATYP days, who I always thought was an absolute stunner. In some ways, I was better friends with his sister, Solly, but they were both fabulous.
Daniel and I would catch up every six months or so for coffee in Newtown whenever I harangued him into it and I think I went to the occasional party he held. I think he knew I was interested, and well, he never was. And I’ve just checked: I do still have a mobile number for him. I should text him and congratulate him… assuming he’d remember me. Hah!
