simon can dis­tin­guish the sound of the car­bur­et­tor from that of the engine though he can’t pick out the words in a rock song he hasn’t heard before… im the other way around… he said he has a pain threshold of 2000 revs in his right ear… we def­in­itely exceeded that during the ups and downs con­cert whenever it was… fail to see the neces­sity for music to be so loud…

aston­ished to find out that a hair dryer runs at 116db when 85 is the danger zone… where do man­u­fac­tur­ers get away with killing us with kindness?
