Most of you probably don’t know, but I have enormous feet. Mum nicknamed me “anthrax” in utero, saying that if I had Dad’s feet and her mouth, I’d have foot and mouth disease.

It’s impossible to find a size 11 12 to 12 in a women’s shoe and have it be attractive. Well, almost. We went shopping yesterday at Fluevog, and I’m now the proud owner of four new pairs of shoes. First new shoes in forever. They had a 60% off sale!

I wanted these, but they’d sold out of the red… As they’re only $79, I might have to buy them online…

But I got these instead:

And for the more formal look:

I desperately want these too, but they only go up to an 11 and they didn’t fit. Pout.

In the boot department, I wanted these, which also only go to an 11:

But have put funky green boots on ‘lay away’ (lay by, for Australian readers).

I want to show you the awesome chunky black Mary Janes I bought (only $49! Do you know how long it is since I paid less than $100 for a shoe that *fit* me?) and the pair of leaf-green and pale tan sandals that go very well with my hippie summer gear, but they were the last of their kind in the shop (my size, of course, because *almost no one else has such insanely huge feet*) and so they’re not on the web site any more.
