I was kinda horrified that Dubya got Cs at Yale. This little tidbit, borrowed from Doug’s friend bunegeria  is even more telling:

Educational Backgrounds of the candidates:

Barack Obama:
Columbia University – B.A.Political Science with a Specialization in International Relations.

Harvard – Juris Doctor (J. D.) Magna Cum Laude

Joseph Biden:
University of Delaware – B.A. in History and B.A. in Political Science.

Syracuse University College of Law – Juris Doctor (J.D.)

vs.

John McCain:
United States Naval Academy – Class rank: 894 of 899

Sarah Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University – 1 semester
North Idaho College – 2 semesters – general study
University of Idaho – 2 semesters – journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College – 1 semester
University of Idaho – 3 semesters – B.Sc .in Journalism/Communications (I’ve altered this slightly from the e‑mail because this is what Wikipedia has…)

I’m wondering why Palin went back and forth between colleges so often, but at least she did complete the degree. No clue as to her skill level though…

Still, I like the political science backgrounds of the other guys better… The lawyer thing is intriguing. Someone – I think it was e_dan  – made a comment one day about how different societies are based on whether they elect lawyers to run their governments or other career types.
