It’s getting a little too close…
I’ll be leaving for Europe for 15 weeks on June 23. I am sub-letting my gorgeous apartment but I have only got tenants for the first 5 weeks I’m away.
I’m looking for tenants for the following periods:
week 6 – week 10: monday july 28 – sunday august 31
week 12 – week 15: monday september 8 – friday october 3
The flat
The place is a gorgeous 2BR apartment in the friendly Westgarth area of Northcote. The second bedroom is a study and you’ll have access to most of my books. It has new black carpets, wooden venetians, a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, will be fully furnished, including very large telly and DVD player/stereo. The bathroom has shower over bath. Gas stove. Three minutes walk to station, 11 minutes by train to the city. Five minutes walk to tram, easy tram ride to trendy Smith St. Five minutes walk to the amazing Westgarth Cinema, the sexy Kelvin cocktail bar and the funkadelic Movie Reel cult vid shop. Three minutes walk to the Merri Creek bush trail. Oh, and for you Sydney-siders missing the_christian, it’s a mere three minute tram ride to The Man.
The deal
You can book in for as little as a week or as long as five weeks if you want that whole first block. You pay me $175 per week ($20 less than the actual rent and a lot cheaper than a hotel), direct to my bank account. The rent will be paid directly from my account to my landlord. My neighbours will have the key. Any issues you have during your stay, take it to the neighbours. They’ll deal with my landlord. Yes, I will accept friends of yours, but you have to vouch for them!
Reasons to come to Melbourne
The Melbourne Film Festival is on during one of these blocks, so maybe that appeals? You miss the_christian and want to visit him. You like wearing long coats and Sydney is just too damn warm these days. Because.
