So, what do whiskers *do* exactly? And do they grow back? Jezabel decided to investigate a lit candle last night and it was only the smell of burning hair that alerted me to it. She didn’t – and doesn’t – appear distressed by the situation at all, but her whiskers on the left side are now half as long as those on the right and somewhat shrivelled.
