The SMH picked up my story as the top tech­no­logy story for the day. Guess it ain’t as bad as I thought it was…

Well, that’s not quite true. It *was* that bad, accord­ing to the editor. It’s been heav­ily edited. And I still don’t like some of the edit. They’ve taken out any men­tion that Salen was respons­ible for design­ing the Big Urban Game. They’ve made it sound like “a craze that’s sweep­ing the globe”… it’s only been three games that I know of. And they’ve taken out some of the explan­a­tion so that Rohan’s quote about the red dot behind him no longer makes sense. But I guess most people don’t read these things that closely…
