Well, well.
My supervisor just sent me an e‑mail:
“I’m happy with the thesis structure and shape, including the conclusion.
I’d like you to tune and polish and submit. I’m happy to have a final run through, but it would simply be for
expression errors, typos. I hope there are none.”
Nice. Problem is, p_cat has been through the thesis and she’s spotted some issues. At this point, I trust her close reading more than I trust my supervisor’s. That’s not good. So I doubt his assessment that it’s ready.
Thankfully I do have the fabulous p_cat and I can make the thesis match *my* high standards in the three weeks I have left.
