This is look­ing com­pletely fucked. I have to say I think the Labor cam­paign was pretty dumb. What does a Lib­eral voter care if Howard is going to give power to Cos­tello? Maybe they want Cos­tello. That was a stupid approach. They should have gone in hard on the lies the Lib­er­als told us. I cannot believe that this coun­try is re-elect­ing the idiot who took us into an unfair war on flimsy evid­ence and who lied about the chil­dren over­board affair and who lied about intro­du­cing a GST and who is a weasel. I can’t believe people have re-elec­ted the party that incar­cer­ates chil­dren in con­cen­tra­tion camps. That lets the US keep its cit­izens locked up for two years without trial. This is not the soci­ety I want to live in. These are not the people I want as neighbours.

I am so disappointed.
