From drjon:

A: Any regrets?

Sure. Lots.

B: You live an amazingly hectic and dense life. What don’t you manage to fit in, that you really wish you could?

More sex. Seriously, more reading time. And I wish I could fit in trips to the forests for forest protests like I did in my early 20s.

C: Off to Spain sometime soon, for a while I’d guess. Will you come back for Woodfords?

Absolutely. The ideal is to spend half my year in Spain and half in Australia. I would come back around November to go to Earthcore and then Woodford, be here for my birthday in January, edit some things, maybe this travel magazine, teach Semester 1 of the Australian university calendar and leave for Spain again in June. Maybe I’d travel around art shows and digital culture things throughout Europe during that time, but some years I’d just work in Spain, teaching English journalism or something. Guest editing summer tourist guides and art mags maybe.

D: Are you a threshhold person? I notice that you seem to be very open amongst the people I usually see you with. Are you like that all the time, or is it just the environment I normally see you in?

I’m like that most of the time (if I’ve interpreted ‘open’ correctly; I’m not sure what you mean by a ‘threshhold person’). It’s one of the things people have issues with. I’m trying to learn that not every one wants to know absolutely everything about my life but I find it a challenge. I’m just not very private and if you ask me something directly, I will generally just answer you honestly. I also volunteer waaay too much and that’s the bit I’m trying to cut back on. It’s also a very good way to keep some of the more personal things completely under the radar. Everyone assumes that I have nothing to hide since I’m so incredibly open about things they would never share.

E: Where are my car keys? I love your kitchen. This isn’t really a question, I just wanted to say that I love witch’s kitchens, and yours is a wonderful example.

Right. Thanks. That should be ‘witches’ kitchens’ by the way. *grin* I like my kitchen too, now that I’ve cleaned it.

Questions for you:

1. Favourite film? Why?
2. What one thing do you miss least about Brisbane, excluding the heat, and why?
3. What is your favourite thing about Alison and why?
4. If you could change an aspect of the Australian political system, what would it be?
5. Why discordian magic? (you know, just a little question…)
